Much of our work is on relatively standard houses and flats but from Prime Central London to the suburbs, we have surveyed and valued all property types from listed Georgian town houses to spectacular penthouses. Further afield we have seen new build houses on the Wentworth Estate in Surrey, Victorian manor houses in Hants & new timber framed houses in Berks built from reclaimed mediaeval barns. At the request of clients, we have surveyed Georgian mansions (with associated outbuildings and lodges set amidst private parkland) in Bucks, Herts, Cambridge & Huntingdon.

Valuations In respect of land and buildings, valuations are the biggest single area of risk, accounting for a large part of our compliance checks. This is particularly so where the valuation is not referred to a qualified independent valuer and it is important to make sure the valuation is made for the purposes of relevant legislation and meets Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
People buying a house or flat often look for a cheap surveyor when considering a HomeBuyer or Building Survey report.
However, a cheap survey is not necessarily the best value. It is important to ensure that the surveyor you use is a Chartered Surveyor experienced in providing the service you require for the house or flat you are buying. Many firms advertising their services are not Chartered Surveyors but you can rest assured that all of our surveyors are.
