Just like everything else, electrical installations will deteriorate with age and with use. That is why the person who is responsible for the maintenance of electrical installations in any property must ensure that anyone using that electricity is safe. The only way to do this is regular testing.

Only a competent and qualified electrician who has been registered by an approved Association or Governing Body should undertake EICR testing. Our electrician will be checking your electrical installation against the requirements set out by BS 7671 – the requirements for electrical installations and IEE wiring regulations. This is the national safety standard that is applied to all electrical installations. These standards contain around eight hundred and fifty regulations.
